Final Exercises Ceremonies
All graduating students will require a ticket to enter Scott Stadium. Graduates can reserve their ticket and up to two guest tickets for the ceremony where their degree will be conferred beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 23. The deadline to claim their ticket and any guest tickets is Sunday, May 2 at 11:59 p.m. Neither the graduating student nor their guests will be able to attend the ceremony if the graduate does not claim tickets during this window of time.
Tickets will be offered through the UVAShots.com system that has provided tickets for Virginia basketball, baseball, soccer, and lacrosse games this year.
Once you have logged in to your account (instructions listed down below), beginning on Friday, April 23, you will see the graduation ceremony you are eligible to attend. You can then claim your ticket and up to two guest tickets.
For the graduates of the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, you may choose either the morning or afternoon ceremony on Saturday, May 22. It will be on a first-come, first-served basis, when all the slots have filled for either ceremony, then students will not have a choice – you will have to choose the ceremony with slots remaining.
All tickets will be delivered electronically by Wednesday, May 12. Your student ticket is not transferable, but your guest tickets can be sent to your guests by forwarding the ticket email or by transferring them through your UVAShots.com account. Given the occupancy limit of the stadium is restricted due to the Governor’s Executive Order #72, there are no extra guest tickets, unfortunately.
All members of the undergraduate Class of 2021 will require a ticket to enter Scott Stadium for Valedictory Exercises, an in-person viewing party that will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 20. Students can reserve their ticket via UVAShots.com beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 30 until 5 p.m. on Friday, May 7. No guest tickets are available for this event due to the restricted occupancy limit of the stadium.
All Valedictory Exercises tickets will be delivered electronically by Friday, May 14. Your ticket is not transferable.
For students who did not request a ticket in time, you can still attend the ceremony by showing your student ID.

On Friday, May 14, you will receive your tickets for the Valedictory Exercises in-person watch party. All emails will come from email@example.com.
The email with the link for your mobile student ticket will have the subject line: Your Graduation Student Mobile Ticket. Your student ticket is a non-transferable ticket. It will display your name so please do not attempt to transfer it to anyone else as they will be denied admission. Please download your ticket to your smartphone as soon as you receive the email. Once your ticket has been downloaded you should see it in your Apple Wallet or G Pay app.
The email with the link for your mobile guest ticket(s) will have the subject line: Your Graduation Guest Mobile Tickets. You can transfer these to your guest(s) either by forwarding the ticket email or through your UVAShots account. Students should not download any guest tickets as students and guests will not enter together.
For more information on how to download and use your mobile tickets visit the Mobile Ticketing Guide.
